I want to help you
understand your new home and its systems. I enjoy knowing how the different systems in a house function and interact with other systems. Understanding your home’s systems will help you make decisions to increase your comfort and health and your home’s efficiency and longevity.
I can provide information
on the condition of the home that can help you make decisions and set priorities for the purchase and upkeep of the property. A home inspection is a snapshot of the condition of the house that can provide you with a starting point to move forward. After the home inspection you will have a better understanding of the home’s condition and recommendations for regular and long-term maintenance where appropriate.
Every home is unique.
Whether it’s a home in a developed neighborhood or a historic house in the city, every home has a mix of characteristics all its own. I enjoy discovering what contributes to your home’s unique nature and character.
Home inspections aren’t just for buying and selling homes.
All homes require regular and long-term maintenance. System components age and wear out. Technology and safety standards change and improve over time. I can provide unbiased information about the typical service life of equipment in your home to help you plan for maintenance, improvements and replacement.
